Invisibilities

AV installation, Lichstrom Festival, Ingolstadt, Germany, 2021.

‘Invisibilities’ Is part of a series that explores digitally generated light and color on different scenarios, following a scanner-like behaviour. This outdoors version was created to interact with the vegetation of the French Garden at Klense park.
In such context, the ray of light navigates the darken environment, making some fragments visible or invisible whether are intersected or not. Light is used as a medium to focus our perception, redefining spacialities and suggesting alternative dimensions.
The piece attempts to remind us how fragile and relative our perception of material reality is, and, in our socio-cultural overstimulating context, it is also an invitation to simply observe and rediscover spaciality by offering unconventional interaction channels.

The installation was created specifically for Lichstrom Festival 2021.
