Trajectories for a landscape

Collaborative Performance and AV installation, HAU, Berlin 2022.

A project from Meg Stuart, Descha Daemgen, Abraham Hurtado.

Live video, video installation and set design.
4 channel video projection / 3d projection display / Video cameras processed live + live visuals.

Collaboration, as video artist and set designer, with sound, light and performance artists all over different stages, rooms and hallways of the venue. The proposal included an adaptation of the 3d display created for Elsewhere, this time as a system that could facilitate the relocation of the screens and, by this, alterate spaciality, perception and body interaction during the 3-hour performance.
The show presented different segments/chapter, each of which had its own set/ installation/ video/ light design, performed and modified with live set tools.

The main stage design was developed in collaboration with Nico de Rooij and Abraham Hurtado.
More about this project and zero point here.

For three days zero point inhabited a labyrinth of rooms and hallways in HAU3, allowing sonic and cinematic landscapes to evolve and expand through its spaces and momentary communities to be built through collective acts of sharing. Audiences was welcomed into a dreamlike fugue that decomposed and recomposed, incidental sounds spiraled into collective choirs, and topographies longed for, haunted, and imagined shape energetic architectures.
